President & Founder

My name is Noah Asfaw, and I am a high school student with a strong interest in Business and Entrepreneurship. In July of 2016, a visit to Ethiopia opened my eyes to the daily struggle so many people face without access to clean water. This inspired the creation of “Hope of the Nile” with a commitment to bring real change to those communities. As a second generation Ethiopian, I’m proud to lead a diverse team driven to make a difference where it’s needed most.

Vice President & Co-Founder

My name is Liam Osei-Tutu, and I am a high school student with a strong interest in Finance. I was inspired to start a non profit after learning how many communities in Ethiopia still lack access to clean and safe water. Once I understood that clean water systems could restore health, hope, and stability to daily lives, I knew I wanted to help. That realization motivated me to start working towards sustainable solutions that can strengthen entire communities.

“Access to safe water is fundamental human need and therefore a basic human right.”
