“Hope of the nile” is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in AUGUST OF 2025. Driven by a shared compassion for those in need, our mission is to build clean and accessible water wells for under-resourced communities in Ethiopia.

Why Ethiopia?

Over 60% of Ethiopia’s population lacks access to safe drinking water, with rural communities facing the greatest challenges. Many Families- especially woman and children- walk hours each day just to collect water, often from contaminated sources. By funding clean water wells, we reduce waterborne disease, increase school attendance, and empower communities with long-term health and stability. Your donation directly supports sustainable, life changing progress across Ethiopia.

At Hope of The Nile, we empower communities in Ethiopia by providing access to clean water. Our initiatives focus on raising funds to build sustainable water wells that improve health and livelihoods.
